Beefcake, Ninjas, and Naked Dancers in Shepaug, Connecticut

As promised, here are some photos of Shepaug swimmers. I like the forced smile of the guy on the left, and the completely darkened pool.

The cross-country team.  Not a lot of biceps on display, but they're so cute that I couldn't resist.

The track team.  Again, too cute to resist, and I like the flag motif of the guy on the left.  I could swear that there's a lambda.

Jack, the guy on the right is also the captain of the swim team, but I can't find a swimsuit photo.  This is someone else with the same name.

Shepaug is not a town, it's Shepaug Valley High School in Washington, Connecticut, the only high school in the state to receive the "blue ribbon" award for reversing the trend of low achievement.

Joe Moravsky, meteorologist and Ninja warrior, is an alumnus.

Washington, Connecticut is "a collection of five iconic villages in glorious Litchfield County," in the rustic western part of the state.  It draws tourists from all over Connecticut and New York (2 hours from Penn Station) for its historic buildings like the First Congregational Church, the Judea Parish House, and the Washington Green Historic District.

And Pilobolus, a dance company featuring mostly naked men contorting themselves into interesting shapes.

Worth a visit, even without the Shepaug track team.
